Dubuque County family receives Iowa Farm Environmental Leader award

40 farm families have been awarded with the Iowa Farm Environmental Leader Awards, with one family being from Dubuque County. Governor Kim Reynolds, alongside other State officials, recognized the families at the 2025 Iowa State Fair.
Gov. Reynolds said that agriculture and conservation go hand in hand, and that many Iowa farmers are leading the way in innovative ways to conserve Iowa’s land. The 40 families recognized were said to be shining examples of community leaders that take action and inspire others to do the same. As a result, a ripple effect happens that further progresses conservation efforts and practices all across the state.
Lillie Beringer Crock, of Beringer Family Farms from Dubuque County, was one of the families awarded for their conservation efforts. Congratulations to the Beringer Family Farms for the award, and for helping to protect our beautiful Iowa lands!
