Delmar Bull Named Iowa State Fair’s Champion Big Bull

John & Bridget Costello and Mark Till have a bull that was named as the 2025 Super Bull at the Iowa State Fair. The Champion Big Bull named “Bud” is a black angus composite weighing over 3-thousand pounds. In addition to “Bud” being a champion bull, he is also an avid KMAQ listener!

Mark Till wanted “Bud” to get used to noises, sounds, and other peoples voices. Since July 1st “Bud” has been listening to KMAQ 24/7 in his barn. Clearly “Bud’s” listening to KMAQ helped, as many people commented when he arrived at the State Fair that he was going to win, which he then did.

Thank you very much to “Bud” for being one of our best listeners, and congratulations to Mark Till and John & Bridget for their champion bull.
