It is 100% free to play, the draft will be at the end of August, and we are still looking for plenty of participants! Today, the Coach Bill Fleming and Dennis Streets Maquoketa Basketball Scholarship Golf Outing is taking place at the Maquoketa Golf Club. The KMAQ Sports team will be out there trying to take home the win. We hope to see you there.Â
Tonight, after the day off yesterday, the St. Louis Cardinals begin a 3-game home series against the rival Chicago Cubs. Pregame coverage will begin at 6:20 right here on KMAQ.Â
The NFL Preseason was back in action last night with 3 Games:Â
The Ravens beat the Colts 24-16, Eagles down the Bengals 34-27, and the late night game between the Raiders and Seahawks ends in a rare 23-23 tie, as the game winning FG attempt was blocked as time expired.Â
In NFL News: Los Angeles Chargers star left tackle Rashawn Slater will miss the entire 2025 season after tearing a patellar tendon during practice. Slater became the highest-paid offensive linemen in NFL history on July 27 when he signed a 4-year $114 million extension.
And Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson suffered a dislocated pinky in Thursday’s preseason loss to the Ravens and is considered day-to-day.
