In St. Louis Cardinals action: the birds took down the Colorado Rockies 6-2 last night in Game 1 of the series. Game 2 is tonight, we will go on the air 10 mins before first pitch, 7:30, due to our broadcast of the Jackson County Fair parade right here on KMAQ.

In NFL news: The Green Bay Packers have signed offensive tackle Zach Tom to a four-year, $88 million dollar extension, including a $30.2 million dollar signing bonus – the largest for an offensive lineman in NFL history.

In NBA news: 12x all-star Point guard Chris Paul has signed a 1 year contract to return to the Los Angeles Clippers where the 40-year old spent the best years of his career. This is expected to be Paul’s farewell season.
