Philip Lee Cornelius is being charged with his second or subsequent Sex Offender Registration Violation for an offence that occurred in April of this year. The offence was for failing to register a Facebook account he created within 5 days as is required by law. He filed for an appeal for council on the 10th.
Deshawn Marvell McClendon pleaded guilty on the 10th to 2 charges. Those being 2 serious misdemeanors of False Imprisonment and his 2nd or subsequent offence of Domestic Abuse. Alongside 1 Contempt of Court for violation of a no contact order. He will be serving up to 3 years in prison alongside additional fines that he must pay. 1 Class-C felony count of 3rd degree kidnapping was dropped.
