Davenport Waives Yard Waste Fees

In order to help with storm and flood recovery, Davenport is waiving the yard waste fees for its residents. Effective immediately there will be no charge for the collection of tree branches and debris, up until August 1st. Residents are asked to place the debris for collection in brown bags or yellow waste containers in the usual collection areas. Larger limbs must be cut to under 5 feet and gathered into piles that weigh no more than 50 pounds. Residents and contractors are also able to drop off any tree debris at the Davenport Compost Center for no cost.
