Bellevue Fire Department Responds To Fireworks Show Comments

Well there was a lot of conversation in regards to delays in the Bellevue fireworks show over the past weekend. According to a Facebook post from the Bellevue fire & rescue they said that this year’s fireworks show was a challenge for them this year from the weather delay to the shooting of the fireworks and apologized for these delays. According to Bellevue Fire Chief Kent Clasen they contacted their supplier J&M Displays and other towns experienced the same issue as Bellevue. According to their supplier the wicks were defective and that is what caused the delays in the show. The team tried their best to overcome this during the shoot and were only able to do so much. The supplier has made a commitment to provide the fire department  at no charge a finale shoot for next year’s show. If you have any additional comments or concerns contact Fire Chief Kent Clasen.
