2 Volunteers from Unity Point Health Finley Hospital in Dubuque Recognized

Two volunteers from UnityPoint Health – Finley Hospital have been recognized with the Governor’s Volunteer Award, presented by Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds and Lieutenant Governor Chris Cournoyer. The awards highlight the dedication and impact of volunteers across the state. At Finley Hospital, Trent DeVries was honored for his work on the Admitting Escort Team, where he helps guide patients to their appointments with a calm and supportive presence. Tanner Schoulte, a volunteer in the Emergency Department, was also recognized for providing both practical assistance and emotional support to patients and staff. In total, more than 290 volunteers were honored this year, representing 96 communities across Iowa.
