Chrysler Recalls over 250,000 Vehicles

Chrysler is issuing a voluntary recall of more than 250,000 vehicles due to a potential airbag defect. The recall affects certain 2022 through 2025 Pacifica and Voyager models. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the side curtain airbags in some of these vehicles may have improperly sealed seams. That could prevent the airbags from maintaining pressure during a crash—potentially putting passengers at greater risk. Chrysler’s parent company, Stellantis, says it’s not aware of any accidents or injuries tied to the issue, but it’s urging vehicle owners to pay close attention to their recall notices. Dealers will inspect the airbags and replace them if needed, free of charge.
