The PT Testing For 4-H Rescheduled to June 30th

The P-T Testing for poultry, originally scheduled for today, has been postponed due to forecasted extreme heat. The new testing date is Monday, June 30th, from 4 to 7 PM, at the Poultry Barn on the Jackson County Fairgrounds. This test is required for all birds that will be shown at the fair, including 4-H, Clover Kids, and FFA entries. Birds must be tested in order to be exhibited at the fair. If you’re unable to attend this scheduled testing, 4-H’ers must provide official documentation showing their birds were tested within 90 days of the fair. Please note, birds must be at least 30 days old at the time of testing. After testing, remember to keep all tested birds separate from any untested birds. And finally, bring all birds that may be exhibited — it’s better to have them tested and not show them than to skip testing and be unable to show them at all.
