Maquoketa Medicaid Forum

A Medicaid forum was held in Maquoketa Yesterday. It was a way for people to hear from the places that could be affected if congress passes the proposed cuts to Medicaid in the proposed budget bill. The panel consisted of a representatives from the Jackson County Regional Health Center, Osterhaus Pharmacy, Area Substance Abuse Council, Imagine the Possibilities, and Clover Ridge Place. Each of the panel members shared  some opening statements and then took some questions from the audience.  The forum had around 70 people in attendance.
