40 Year Old Man Dead After Being Struck by a Train on Monday Morning

A 40-year-old man is dead after being struck by a train early Monday morning in Davenport. The incident happened around 2:05 a.m. in the 200 block of South Gaines Street. Emergency crews responded quickly but pronounced the man dead at the scene. Police say the incident does not appear to be suspicious.
