Dubuque County Watershed Clean Up

Volunteers are needed to help clean up the Dubuque County Watershed next weekend.

The Dubuque County Watershed Clean-up is happening Saturday, June 9th, with efforts focused on improving the health and safety of local creeks and rivers.

Clean-up crews will target public lands along waterways throughout the county — but organizers say picking up litter anywhere helps protect the watershed.

Gloves, trash bags, grabbers, and safety vests will be available in limited supply.

The event is being organized by the Mississippi River Museum and Aquarium, Dubuque County Conservation, and the Dubuque Metropolitan Solid Waste Agency.
