7th Ave North in Clinton Under Construction

Heads up for drivers in Clinton — a stretch of 7th Avenue North will be closed this week due to a construction project.

Starting Tuesday, May 27 at 7 a.m., 7th Avenue North will be shut down from North 3rd Street to Park Place. The closure is expected to last through Friday, May 30 at 5 p.m.

The project is taking place in the 600 block of North 3rd Street, and officials are asking drivers to plan alternate routes and allow extra travel time during the detour.
