2 Men Facing Charges After Armed Robbery at T-Mobile

Two men are facing serious charges after an armed robbery at a T-Mobile store in Davenport Tuesday night. Davenport police say officers responded to the store in the 3100 block of East 53rd Street just before 8 p.m., after reports of an armed robbery in progress. According to investigators, two men entered the store, robbed four individuals and took store merchandise. One suspect was reportedly armed, though police haven’t confirmed which one had the weapon. Wallets, phones, and keys were stolen from victims inside the store, along with company devices. The entire incident was caught on surveillance video. Eighteen-year-old Jaron Bailey-Harris and twenty-two-year-old Clevon Long are each charged with five counts of first-degree robbery and one count of conspiracy to commit a forcible felony. Long is currently being held on a $100,000 cash-only bond, with a preliminary hearing scheduled for May 16 at the Scott County Courthouse. Court records show Bailey-Harris, already on GPS monitoring for a prior car theft case, is awaiting extradition from Illinois.
