Andrew Fire Thanks Area Firefighters

The Andrew Fire Department made a Facebook post on Wednesday saying: On behalf of the entire fire department they want to extend their deepest gratitude for the overwhelming support they received during this week’s fire.  They say a special thank you to the incredible crews from: Baldwin Fire, Bellevue Fire, Delmar Fire, LaMotte Fire, Springbrook Fire, Maquoketa Fire, Miles Fire, and Preston Fire. With over 70 firefighters on scene, your teamwork and dedication made a difference. They are also grateful to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, Jackson County Secondary Roads, Alliant Energy, Bellevue Ambulance, and to Ken Hostetler for the generous use of his pond to fill tankers  – all was greatly appreciated and made a big difference during the response. They also extended their thanks to their incredible community for the food, refreshments, and generous support you shared with the firefighters. They are proud to serve such an amazing community.
