KMAQ News had the opportunity to talk with Senator Chuck Grassley earlier Wednesday. Our question was what is he doing to help lower medication costs. Senator Grassley explained that the Judiciary committee voted out Paid for delay as a way to keep drug costs down. Senator Grassley explains what paid for delay is.
Senator Grassley also says that they work with Pharmacy Benefit Managers and try to work something out with them to also bring down drug prices.
Senator Grassley says he will continue to work on lowering drug costs.
