There is a high fire danger today according to the weather service. Burn bans continue to be in effect until further notice for Jackson and Dubuque Counties. That means that no outdoor burning of any kind is allowed. Due to dry conditions and very gusty winds any fire that may spark may spread quite quickly. Properly discard cigarettes, and use extra caution with grills and heavy machinery.
