High Wind Warning issued for 60 MPH Gusts

The National Weather Service in the Quad Cities has issued a High Wind Warning for the entire KMAQ Area. This is for Northwest winds at 35-45 MPH with wind gusts up to 60 MPH. This will go into effect at 11:00 AM until 9:00 PM Wednesday. According to the weather service, damaging winds may blow down trees and power lines, with widespread power outages possible. Travel will be difficult for high profile vehicles. Avoid windows and watch for potential falling debris and tree limbs. Use caution if you have to drive tomorrow.
