In District Court News in Jackson County, Dawson Carte appeared in Court on charge of 5th degree theft. Carte pleaded not guilty. Now a pre-trial conference is scheduled for March 18th at 2 PM at the courthouse.
Michael Haskin of Sabula appeared in Court on the charge of Operating while under the influence a 2nd offence. Haskin motioned for a continuance. The court agreed and the hearing will be continued on April 11th at 11 AM at the courthouse.
Dody Riordan appeared in court for sentencing on the following charges: Assault causing bodily injury or mental illness, and 3 counts of assault on persons in certain occupations. Riordan will be placed on Unsupervised probation for one year. The hearing for unsupervised probation will be on February 27th 2026 at 11 AM at the courthouse. Bond is also set at $2,000 cash or surety.
