According to the criminal report, Davenport Police were called to Target on Elmore Avenue for a shoplifter in custody. The defendant, identified as Dustin Demuth, 43, allegedly bagged items without scanning them and passed all points of sale without buying the items on these dates:

The losses total $1,475.45.
Demuth was arrested and charged with felony ongoing criminal activity and misdemeanor third degree theft. He was released on a $27,000 bond and is awaiting an initial court appearance.
