On the Police and Sheriff’s call log

On February 23rd, between the hours of 7:30am through 4:29pm, there were controlled burnings.

On February 24th at 7:02am, there was a 2007 Toyoto in a snow bank with a man, woman, and a child sleeping behind the new hospital located on 17th Street/ Timber Drive.  Maquoketa Officers, Ambulance, and Bridgeport Auto Towing all responded.  The victims were taken to Jackson County Regional Hospital, then the two adults were taken to the  Jackson County Detention Center.

On February 24th, there was a theft on 489th Avenue Green Island.  The victim needs to file a report of the missing items. 

On February 25th, at 9:01am, there was house fire located on 49114 Green Island Road.  Miles Fire Department, Preston Fire Department, Preston Ambulance, Sabula Fire Department, Sabula Ambulance, and Officers all responded.  No injuries reported. 

On February 25th,  between the hours of 9:11am through 4:16pm, there were controlled burnings.
