On February 7th, at 6:17pm, Deputies of Jackson County were dispatched to the intersection of 13th Street and 251st Avenue for a 2010 Nissan in a ditch. Bridgeport Auto Towing responded. The Defendant, Christopher Klemme, of Maquoketa was tested and charged with operating while under the influence– 1st offense.
On February 7th, the Defendant, Charles Carter, is charged with operating while under the influence–2nd offense, and assault on persons in certain occupations. Defendant’s Motion to Continue Pretrial conference be re-set to the 21st day of February , 2025 at 10am at the Jackson County Courthouse.
