In the Iowa District Court in and for Jackson County

On January 31st, the Defendant, Sean Nichols, charged with controlled substance violation, eluding, dominion/ control of firearms/ offensive weapons by felon, and trafficking in stolen weapons- 1st offense..  Defendant’ s Motion to Continue before the Court and the Court finds it should be granted to February 14th, 2025 at 10am.

On January 31st, this matter comes before the Court for plea hearing.  The Defendant, Devin Gardner, of Maquoketa, pleads guilty to the charges of burglary – 1st degree, and assault causing bodily injury or mental illness.  Sentencing Hearing is scheduled on March 7th, 2025 at 9:30am at the Jackson County Courthouse.

On January 31st, the Defendant, Eric Nims, of Dubuque, charged with possession of controlled substance– 3rd or subsequent.  Defendant’s  Motion to Continue before the Court and the Court finds it should be granted to February 14th, 2025 at 10am.
