Bettendorf Police enforce traffic efforts

Beginning today, the Bettendorf Police Department will be focusing traffic enforcement efforts in different areas of the city.

The Bettendorf Police Department will begin their efforts, city officials said. Then, every Monday morning, the police department will announce the area they’re concentrating on for the week.

This all comes after the police department made speed enforcement a top priority in 2024 the department said they’ve been educating the public about speed limits and polled residents about problem areas in the city.

“Our goal is to ensure everyone obeys speed limits and follows traffic laws, helping all travelers reach their destinations safely,” posted the Bettendorf Police Department
