Dubuque fire

A family of nine was displaced after a fire at their Dubuque home on Monday.

Firefighters said a neighbor called to report the fire inside the home in the 800 block of Edison Street at around 1:15 p.m. Monday. The family was not there at the time.

Firefighters said high winds were feeding the fire as they worked to get it under control.

And firefighters were at the scene for many hours.
