Noah Garcia arrested

Police have arrested a 25-year-old Davenport man after an incident with a 15-year-old at a school where he worked as a security guard, according to court records and a statement from a school official.
Noah Garcia, who was arrested Friday, faces a charge of lascivious conduct with a minor after a Dec. 2, 2024, incident was reported to Davenport Police on Dec. 4.
At the time of the incident, Garcia was a security guard at Central High School, where the teen was a student, say arrest affidavits, which show Garcia persuaded the victim, who was 15 at the time, to partially disrobe.
Garcia has been released on a $1,000 cash bond from Scott County Jail.
Statement from the principal
On Friday, Principal Brian Ehlinger sent a statement to Central families to say Garcia no longer works at Central or for the district.
“Recently an incident report was made by a student and district administration acted swiftly to investigate this report. This staff member is no longer employed at Central or with DCSD. (On Friday,) the former staff member was arrested by the Davenport Police Department.”
“Because this is a ongoing investigation, we cannot comment further on the incident,” the statement continues. “However, this situation is understandably concerning for our Central family. We want you to know that administration takes all incident reports seriously, and work swiftly with District Administration and the Davenport Police Department to respond and investigate all alleged incidents.
“The safety and security of all students is a priority at Central High School and we are thankful for the swift response by the Davenport Police Department in investigating this matter.”Noah Garcia
