– A crash at Wiley Boulevard and 16th Avenue Southwest impacted the traffic control box, which Cedar Rapids Police say caused the traffic lights there to stop working.
The intersection is now being treated as a four-way stop with stop signs in place. Workers are getting it fixed, but police say with multiple lanes, it could be confusing to drivers.
TV9 was there at the scene shortly after the crash around 8 a.m. Friday. There were two cars involved in the crash, both badly damaged.
Cedar Rapids Police say one car had flipped into the ditch. No one reported getting hurt.
