On January 8th, the defendant, Mercedes Carr, Spragueville, appears in custody on the charge of criminal mischief–5th degree, from an incident which occurred on January 7th, 2025 at 10:16pm.  The Defendant has pleaded not guilty; therefore, a Pretrial Conference is scheduled on January 23rd, 2025 at 2pm at the Jackson County Courthouse. The Defendant is released.

On January 8th, the Defendant, Edward Slager, of Spragueville, appears in custody on the charge of domestic abuse assault–injury or mental illness, from an incident which occurred on January 7th, 2025 at 10:16pm.  The Defendant Personally  received a No Contact Order at the Jackson County Jail at 9:45am on January 8th. The Defendant is released upon posting $1,000 dollars cash or surety.
