In the Iowa District Court in and for Jackson County:

On December 27th, the Defendant, Makaylea Yakle, of Welton, appears in custody on the charge of criminal mischief–4th degree, from an incident which occurred on December 26th, at 6:13pm.  The Defendant pleads not guilty, and therefore a Preliminary Hearing is scheduled on January 2nd, 2025 at 2:30pm at the Jackson county Courthouse.  The Defendant is released upon posting $1,000 dollars cash only.

On December 27th, the Defendant, Seth Kruckenberg, of Grand Mound, appears in custody and plead not guilty to the charge of possession of controlled substance– meth, and possession of drug paraphernalia, from an incident which occurred on December 27th, 2024 at 1:09am.  A Preliminary Hearing is scheduled on January 16th, 2025 at 2:30pm at the Jackson County Courthouse.
