In the Iowa District Court in and for Jackson County

On December 10th, the Defendant, Isac Cardenas, of Maquoketa, shall appear with counsel on the following court procedures.  Final Pretrial Conferences are scheduled on January 9th, 2025 at 2pm at the Jackson County Courthouse.

Non Jury Trial is scheduled on January 23rd, 2025 at 1:30pm at the Jackson County Courthouse.  The Defendant is charged with domestic abuse assault–1st offense, from an incident which occurred on September 19th, 2024 at 7:26am.

On December 10th, this matter comes before the Court for sentencing.  The Defendant, Natasha Brady, of Maquoketa, has pled guilty to the charge with accessory after the fact, from an incident which occurred on September 8th, 2024 at 3:21am.  The Court finds this matter shall be set for a review hearing, which is scheduled on December 11th, 2025 at 1:05pm at the Jackson County Courthouse.  Failure to appear may result in the Defendant’s arrest.  Bond on appeal is set at $150 dollars cash only.

On December 10th,  the Defendant, Brad Scott, of Wisconsin, appears in person and pled not guilty to the charge of theft- 5th degree, from an incident which occurred on November 29th, 2023 at 11:20am.  A Pretrial Conference is scheduled on January 7th, 2025 at 2pm at the Jackson County Courthouse.
