Steve Nemmers on behalf of the Jackson family is offering the opportunity for the City to
purchase the Delbert Jackson property before they put it on the market. Nemmers stated that
Delbert Jackson had hoped that the City would be able to obtain the property. If purchased, the
land would voluntarily be annexed into the city. There are different options that would be
available for the use of the property. Weinschenk will contact Origin Design and get some initial
information. Nemmers will communicate to the Jackson’s that the city has interest in the
property. CITY HALL FIRE ALARM SYSTEM DISCUSSION AND APPROVAL
Weinschenk presented a quote from Per Mar and Lectronics, whom is our current vendor. Per
Mar’s quote is the low quote for a complete system but there is a monthly service fee. Medinger
is going to see what the Ambulance is using for their system and get back to Weinschenk.
Weinschenk stated that we do not need to make a decision tonight, we can get additional quotes.
