Update– on the victims who died in the Highway 151 crash

The names of the two victims who died from injuries sustained in a Dubuque County crash, which involved a SUV and a semi tractor trailer on Thanksgiving Day.

According to the Dubuque County Sheriff’s Department, said, “  Raymond Seeley, 64 yrs, of Sterling Illinois, who was the driver of the SUV, died at the scene.  The passenger,  Deana Seeley, 62yrs., of Sterling Illinois,  was transported to MercyOne Dubuque Medical Center,  then airlifted to the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics, where she later died.

According to the crash report form the Iowa State Patrol,  the crash occurred at 1pm, Thursday, at the intersection of U.S. 151 and Skyline Road,  when the driver of the SUV failed to stop at a stop sign. The driver of the semi, William James, 48 yrs., of Amarillo, Texas, was transported to MercyOne Dubuque Medical Center with minor  injuries.  The Iowa State Patrol is investigating the incident.
