Dollar General

Dollar General is making changes in their stores across Iowa, to make them less disorderly, by reducing surplus, and reducing prices on products to move them out the door faster.  The changes are because of cluttered aisles, and how displays are laid out,and blocked emergency exits making it difficult in case of an emergency.

Unfortunately, “shrinkage” or items have been either walking out the door on their , or the items have  been shoplifted.  Dollar General is working on taking out self check out lanes, already in 12,000 of their stores.  Some checkouts  will receive a make over being converted into assisted checkouts, where the employees scan and bag your items. However, if a customer has more than five items, they will need to use a regular checkout.
