In the Iowa District Court in and for Jackson County

On November 14th, the Defendant, Bryan Roden, of Maquoketa, appears in custody on the charge of possession of controlled substance–2nd offense, from an incident which occurred on November 13th, 2024 at 6:15pm. A Preliminary Hearing is scheduled on November 21st, 2024 at 2:30pm at the Jackson County Courthouse. The Defendant is released upon posting $2,000 dollars cash only.

On November 14th, the County Attorney of Jackson County accuses the Defendant, Clayton Shady, of Maquoketa, on the charge of Failure to Comply  with Sex Offender, Registration Requirements–2nd offense, from an incident which occurred on August 21st,2024.  A hearing on Arraignment is scheduled on November 22nd, 2024 at 8:45am at the Jackson County Courthouse.

On November 14, the State was prepared to proceed at 1:30pm on November 14th. The State had all its witnesses present and resisted the request for continuance.  The Defendant, Joel Gritzinger, of Bellevue, is charged with domestic abuse assault–1st offense, from an incident which occurred on  September 4th,2024 at 9:07am, A Non Jury Trial is scheduled on November 26th, 2024 at 1:30pm at the Jackson County Courthouse.
