A crash occrued in Scott County on September 16th, 2024 AT 11:46 PM, when a 2021 GMC Yukon Was traveling
west on I-74. For unknown resons the vehicle left the roadway
and struck an embankment causing the vehicle to roll onto its side. Fred’s Towing was notifed.
According to the Iowa State Patrol, the driver of the vehicle was wearing a seatbelt,
and was transported by MEDIC EMS to Genesis East Hospital.
The report also mentioned that the passenger of the vehicle was not wearing their seatbelt, and was also
transported by MEDIC EMS to Genesis East Hospital.
The names of the people invovled are being withheld pending family notification.
The incident still remains under invesitigation.
The Iowa State Patrol was assisted by Davenport Police & Fire.
The Bettendorf Police Department also assisted.
